When we survive , find and express our stories , our voices about our personal Transgender experience - and living proudly through the wounding society dishes out - it is always an inspiration and a win for Tolorance. Your story is an inspiration. This is what I want for myself. I am in my mid 40's and hate being male. it feels all wrong. i read your page with great interest. When does your book go on sale? if it has not already. I would love to read it. I want to make my chage ASAP however, currently there exist barriers or hurtles i must defeat.

Watch Chris Rock's movie, "Down To Earth" & think of being "reincarnated" into a woman's body & keeping a man's soul. I somehow believe that is what happened to me! I have never identified with women & all the guys who are my pals have said they can't think of me as strictly, "a woman"! They always felt more comfortable talking with me about cars, girls & mechanics. I think that people should stop judging people on their skin color or sexual proclivities. There are so many types of prejudice & they are ALL abhorrent! I applaud your honesty & strength. It goes to prove, "That which does not kill us, makes us stronger!"
